Lisa is a CIPD qualified HR (People, Culture & Wellbeing) Consultant, providing freelance support to Film and TV Indies, with the aim of helping transform industry working practices for the better.
Lisa has worked in the industry since 2003 and has experienced the lack of HR support it has offered, before retraining as an HR Consultant herself, with a view to helping build a better industry for those who work in it.
This unique perspective is incredibly valuable in helping drive forward different ways of working and finding creative solutions to the nuanced HR challenges that arise in creative workplaces.
Lisa works across both scripted and unscripted genres, including supporting crew on HETV Productions, providing HR consultancy to smaller independent companies and production start-ups, as well as creating and delivering training sessions for organisations such as BECTU Vision and ScreenSkills.
Lisa’s training remit covers HR basics for production companies, positive culture change, adaptable ways of working and more.
